This was always an end of the season trip that the Iola jumpers would look forward to going on. A fun little hill always in great shape. Big pizza party on the way home. Sorry to see another nice hill return to dust.
I Nordic skied at this location when the ski jump(s) were constructed. As an out of state individual, I assume a lack of new and younger ski jumpers caused this jump to go kaput.
