The no longer existing ski jumping hill at Rybnik was built in the early 1950s, probably in 1951. The initiator of the construction was Ryszard Pawletko, who also performed the first jump. The facility with an artificial wooden structure was built by a brigade of carpenters from "Silesia" ironworks. In February 1952, the local championship was held there.
