The history of the ski jumping hill "Pod Jaworem" dates back to the pre-war times, when the first wooden object was built there, also functioning after the war. In the 1970s it was replaced by a concrete structure. The last modernization took place in the 1980s, when a steel inrun tower was erected. However, the hill was already closed shortly after and then demolished. The record was beaten in the last race. It was set up by Mirosław Graf, who was already a coach at that time and jumped in the V-style even before Jan Boklöv. In 2014 he became the mayor of Szklarska Poreba.
