History:

Sandvoldbakken was built in the early 1970's by the father of Torbjørn Løkken (Normal Hill individual World Champion in Oberstdorf 1987). Løkken made his first jumps here. In the early days, it was an all-natural hill, but later a small inrun tower was added which enabled longer distances.
