History:

The Nesåsen ski jump was located in the municipality of Lørenskog, about 10 km east of Oslo. It was situated in a wooded area without direct road access, which made it difficult to reach. It was built in 1947 thanks to the efforts of Lørenskog Skiklubb and was intended primarily as a facility for youth. In 1954, lighting was installed, making it the first ski jump in Lørenskog that could host evening competitions. In 1976, after a period of inactivity during the 1960s, the facility was rebuilt with a new inrun, and in 1982 the ski jump was officially reopened following modernization. In 1986, a hill record of 37.5 meters was set. During the 1980s, the ski jump was rarely used due to mild winters and lack of snow. Additionally, acts of vandalism led to its closure for safety reasons. Finally, on March 10, 2016, the inrun structure was dismantled by the municipality of Lørenskog.
