In 1953 Wasenschanze was constructed at Ursulaberg in Swabian Pfullingen near Reutlingen, due to a lack of snow the opening was delayed until 1956.
Still today there is a ski jumping department at VfL Pfullingen, called “VfL Young Eagles”. Since spring 2009 both ski jumps K30 and K15 at Ursulaberg are even covered with plastic mattings. Every year in September, a large junior competition in ski jumping and nordic combined is held in Pfullingen, the so-called "Nordic Trophy".
In June 2018 new K8 ski jump with plastic mattings was added to complex on the left side of bigger ski jumps.
