History:

The ski jumps at Muurola, a town 20 km south of Rovaniemi, are no more in use, although especially the K27 hill has a relatively new inrun tower and also a wooden covering of the landing zone. In the past it was covered with plastic mattings, but they were removed in 2000 and transferred to Rovaniemi.
This ski jumping hill was planned by Jouko Törmänen, but the hill profile is said to be unjumpable on.
