History:
Kongsberger Ski Club was founded in 1954 by Norwegian immigrants around Olav Ulland. As an alternative to the ski jumping hills at Beaver Lake on Snoqualmie west summit and in "Milwaukee Road Ski Bowl" at Mount Hyak, which had been given up shortly before, a new ski jump was set up further south-east. It was used until 1974. Today the club still maintains a cross-country trail network in the area at the foot of Amabilis Mountain.
