History:

Gullbekkbakken was built in 1933 and opened in the following year. The K60 hill hosted Norwegian Ski Jumping Championships two times - in 1936 and 1954. However, now there are only a few remains of the former place where best Norwegian ski jumpers had competed. The ski jumping hill was located close to militarized zone and thus foreign ski jumpers were hardly invited there. Anytime a competition was held, a huge "Photos forbidden" banner was present on the hill.
