History:

Judenbach is a small town in Thuringia, situated north-east of Sonneberg and in 1962 voluntary workers built up the first wooden ski jumping hill. In the chosen terrain Flößteich, which lies outside the town a K45 ski jump should be created, but the area only allowed only the construction of a K37 profile. For many years this ski jumping hill was used for training and competitions, just as school and district championships, but also spartaciade competitions. Later the inrun was renewed and replaced by steel construction.
The last competition likely took place in 1988, after that the hill dilapidated and today nothing of the jump has remained. The hill record is still held by Roland Leib from Rauenstein with 38 meters.
