History:

In 1954 at Thalheim a ski jumping hill was constructed out of re-used old wooden telephone poles at Christelgund. In the beginning 1970’s the hill, on which the best jumpers reached distances of up to 28 meters, was converted into a natural jumping hill. Also floodlights were added very early, so that also night competitions could be held. The very last competition on this jump took place on 1984-03-03, since the jump has been dilapidating.
