History:

The first ski jump at Steinberg in Rodewisch was constructed in 1980. First only the K12 jump had a plastic covering, but then in 2006 both larger ski jumps were covered with new plastic mattings, additionally the K32 received a glass inrun trail, just like K12 already had before. Then in 2007 the new small jump K8 was constructed and the K45 was equipped with a new inrun trail made of enamel and stainless steel. The first record on mattings on K45 was set up during inauguration competition in 2007 by Gerd Brose from Zschopau with 44.5 m, who also holds winter record.
