The 1974 built and 1975 inaugurated Pionierflugschanze at Hellmannsgrund in Saxonian Langenchursdorf was an important training hill in former GDR. Every year a competition for the „Töpferpokal“ (potter’s cup) of neighbouring potter’s city Waldenburg was hosted there. The very last competition took place in 1989. By the way, a very interesting fact is, that the inrun tower of the jump belongs to the community Langenchursdorf, while the landing hill belongs to Waldenburg, which caused very much problems.
