History:

Also in the area of Ruhestein in 1923/24 the Vogelskopfschanze was constructed, a giant ski jumping hill on which jumps of more than 65 meters were possible. But already in 1926 misunderstandings and disputes between snow shoe club and forest authorities came up and lead to further enlargement works on the jump being in a stalemate and finally in 1932 Vogelskopfschanze was given up.
