The ski jumping facility “Le Grépon” in the south of Chamonix, situated at the cable car station for Aiguille du Midi, hasn't been used for a while. Instead the athletes of CS Chamonix have been practising on the ski jumps in neighbouring Les Houches.
In January 2012 the first ski jumping competition after a long time was held on HS 55 (K50) as a "Subaru Challenge". The smaller hills are still for winter training as well.
In spring 2012 Chamonix city council opened the call for tenders for a complete modernization of the ski jumping facility as K50, K30 and K10. Renovation works started then in spring 2014. First competition on the renovated Le Grépon ski jumping hills were then held on March 4, 2015.
