History:

The two sports clubs Ylöjärven Ryhti and Ylöjärven Urheilijat built Maunusso ski jumping hill in mid 1950's with the support the local municipality of Ylöjärvi, a city only few kilometers north-west of Tampere. The ski jump had only been used until mid 1960's and distances up to 45 meters could be reached there. Today only concrete pillars and some over-grown steps remind of the former ski jumping hill.
