At Hervanta, a district in the south of Tampere, the first ski jumping hills K25 and K10 were constructed in 1975. The Hervannanen 47 meter hill was built in 1985 with a plastic covering. Furthermore, in 1998 the mattings of K47 were removed and then all three remaining jumps could only be used in wintertime.
Around 2012 the children's hills K25 und K10 were for the first time covered with mattings for summer use. Modernization and again plastic covering of the K47 ski jump followed in 2018-2019.
