History:

The ski jumping facility at Aholahden sports center of Savonlinna was built up in 1960's together with cross-country facilities. Back then Finnish championships with attendences up to thousands of spectators were organized there and also Matti Nykänen could leave his name in the list of hill record holders.
The facility was finally blown up on August 26, 2004 and the completely removed.
