At the Welsch-Ramschwag castle ruins in Nenzing, a ski jump was built in 1947/48 according to plans by Ing. Ohneberg. Part of the wall was also destroyed for this purpose. The opening competition took place on January 23, 1949. A record distance of 48 meters was set there even before. The ski jump was probably only used for a few years.
