History:
Skiclub Radstadt was already founded in 1910. Felserschanze was constructed nrea today's ski lift in 1924 and with the support of the academic sports club of Vienna it was enlarged into a 50-meter hill in 1928-29. The ski jump was then called Akademiker-Schanze and hosted not only annual new year's day competitions, but also the Austrian Championships in March 1930. After World War II Walter Habersatter became the most successful ski jumper from Radstadt and the Felser Schanzen were still in use for some period of time.
