History:

Wintersportverein Trattenbach at Kienberg was founded in 1934 and in February 1937 the first ski jumping competition was held at a ski hill in Kienau.
After World War II the reconstruction of Kienauerschanze started in 1948. With Willi Steinlesberger there was a local ski jumper and nordic combined, who was also successful in national competitions. Again and again the ski jump was repaired and converted. The last competition on the ski jumping hill at Kienau was held on 1965-02-07. Winner was F. Kuchlbacher from Schärding ahead of Willi Steinlesberger.
