History:

There was once a ski jumping hill at Razorhone Hill on Mount Baker in Washington. It was operated by the Fjeld Ski Club from Stanwood, located almost 100 miles away, which was founded in 1938. Probably the first competition on Razor Hone Hill took place in 1940 as part of the Pacific Northwest Ski Association (PNSA). Even after the Second World War, the ski jump, which allowed jumps of up to 50 meters, was still used, including in 1948.
Today there is still an alpine ski area at Mount Baker and the Nooksack Nordic Ski Club operates cross-country ski trails.
