History:

In 1909 the first ski jump at Hudiksvall was built up with Fridhemsbacken.
With the support of crown prince Gustav Adolf in 1929 the Swedish Championships were organized on Galgberget in front of 6,000 spectators. For the championships in 1942 the Galgberget was reconstructed for 46,000 crones. In 1960 again 24,000 crones were invested for another championship. The last hill record was held by Nordic combined Sven Israelsson from Dala Järna with 49,5 m, then in 1963 the inrun tower of the ski jumping hill burned down.
