Little is known about the site in Malleray, apart from the fact that a small ski jump of approximately K30 once existed there. It was used by the Ski-Club Malleray-Bévilard, founded in 1929, and was already in operation at least from the 1930s, as evidenced by a reference to the club’s “tremplin” in a 1938 newspaper article. The Malleray/Bévilard area hosted several important Jura bernois skiing events — including the Concours jurassien de ski in 1945 and 1951, the Jura championships in 1959, and relay races in 1965 — although available sources do not allow us to determine to what extent the local ski jump was used during those competitions.
