The oldest ski jumping hill of the SC Sainte-Croix club, founded in 1904, was located on the slopes of the Mont-des-Cerfs hill to the northwest of the town.
Contemporary tourist materials and MTB/winter routes describe the area around the Col des Etroits pass and the Grangette Addor buildings – situated on the slopes of Mont-des-Cerfs – as a place where “a ski-jumping hill once stood.” The hill no longer exists in the terrain, and in publications it is mentioned only in the past tense as a historical element of Sainte-Croix’s winter sports infrastructure.
It is known only that, over time, the ski-jumping centre in Sainte-Croix shifted to the later-built Tremplin du Châble, where Swiss Championship competitions and international events were held.
