The Tana ski jumping hill was located in the hamlet of Briše above the town of Vransko and formed part of a small sports and recreational centre. It featured a characteristic wooden inrun tower, erected temporarily for competitions. The hill was maintained, and all events were organised, by ŠD Tana Briše pri Vranskem.
The ski jumping tradition in Briše dates back to 1980, when local youngsters began organising spontaneous jumps on alpine skis on the surrounding slopes. Over time, the first improvised hills were built, and in the 1980s several well-known Slovenian athletes appeared there, including Matjaž and Janez Debelak as well as Jure Jerman. By the mid-2000s, two small hills (15 m and 25 m) were already in operation, regularly hosting annual competitions that attracted dozens of participants and several hundred spectators.
The modern Tana K25 hill was built around 2010 and officially became part of the newly established sports and recreational centre in the 2011/2012 season. In February 2012, a competition was held there to mark the opening of the centre.
The best-documented period is 2010–2015, during which the hill was actively used:
• 27 January 2013 – individual competition with 26 jumpers and over 400 spectators; the hill record of 23.0 m was set by Robi Urankar (SLO).
• March 2013 – night team event with 11 three-member teams; the longest jump (21 m) was made by Simon Martinec.
• 15 February 2015 – resumption of competitions after a two-year break caused by lack of snow; best results: 22.5 m by Robi Vrankar and Gregor Glušič; about 500 spectators were present, and preparing the hill required transporting roughly 150 m³ of snow.
After 2015, no confirmed information about further ski jumping events is available. It is known only that the area below the hill was still used as the finish of the local running event Tek na Briše in 2016.
Today, only a grassy slope and the small wooden hut that once stood beside the landing area remain.
