History:

Hramše is a small village in the municipality of Žalec, with around 200 inhabitants, located in the Savinja region in northeastern Slovenia. Despite its size, the village has a ski jumping hill, making it a unique sports center in this part of the country. It is here that Timi Zajc grew up – Olympic medalist in team events, world champion on the large hill both individually and with the team, world champion in team ski flying and individual silver medalist. He is the first and only ski jumper to win all ten possible national titles in Slovenia across age categories from 9 to 16, as well as in senior competitions – both in summer and winter.
He began training in ski jumping at the age of four and a half, together with his older brother Marko, on the local hill in Vizore. Next to his family home in Hramše stands a K18 hill, built by his father in 2011 when Timi was nearly 12 years old. In an interview with Siol, Timi said his father "built him a monument" that would remind him of his career even after it ends. A smaller K6 hill also operated nearby, and both were occasionally used for children’s competitions.
Currently, the K18 hill is out of service, and the smaller K6 was a snow ski jump.
