History:

Vsevolozhsk is about 20 km away from St. Petersburg and is the hometown of the only former Russian or Soviet Union ski jumping gold medal winner at Olympic Winter Games. Vladimir Belousow won the title in Grenoble 1968 and lives until today in Vsevolozhsk, where he grew up with ski jumping.
