History:

The first ski jumping hill at Predeal near Braşov was inaugurated already on 1929-01-30 and made of stone. It was planned by engineers Strautmann and Otto Lexen and allowed jumps around 40 meters.
In 1986 the large 65 meter ski jump was constructed out of steel at the same spot, but it is already out of use. It has been host of Roumanian Championships for many times already, also in 2003.
