History:

Thanks to the efforts of coach Franciszek Klima an about 35-meter ski jumping hill with artificial lighting had been set up in Wilkowice since the mid-50s. The hill was rebuilt in the 1960s and a second ski jump, approx. a 20 meter hill, was added. Although plastic mats were brought in from the ski jump in Bielsko-Biała, they were never put up on the landing hill. The hills ceased to function at the end of the 1980s.
