In the "Gipsy Forest" ski jumping had probably been practised since 1960's, but in 1980 the city set up a steel construction for an inrun tower, which was handed over to the club BBTS Włókniarz for use one year later and in 1991 the club renounced the right for further care of the facilities (besides the big one with the mentioned tower, there was also a smaller one with a natural inrun), which were no longer suitable for the further training of ski jumpers.
Expert opinions clearly indicated that the facility had no chance to fulfil any homologation requirements, its reconstruction would cost a lot of money, it would be cheaper to dismantle it and possibly build a new construction.
The dozen-metre-high tower attracted cyclists as well as amateur climbers and scouts, who practised abseiling there. The municipality was therefore looking for someone to take all the scrap metal from the tower in exchange for demolition. Attempts were even made to persuade the Klimczok Bystra club to take it on and try to make use of the steel elements gained from the demolition, but in the end this did not happen.
At present, there is no trace left of the structure and other elements of the ski jump, except for the place where the landing hill was located.
