The construction of the ski jumping hill in Ojców near Kraków took place even before the Second World War. Establishment of the facility, initiated by the local Health Resort Association (Towarzystwo Uzdrowiskowe), has been noted in the report of the Polish Ski Association for the 1932/33 season. The well-known expert, Capt. Roman Loteczka, was responsible for the project. The hill has not been used for decades, but its remains exist until today - it is above all an impressive stone take-off. Nearby is a popular nature attraction - the Krakow Gate (Brama Krakowska), which is a stately rock gate.
