History:

The origins of the "Neue Schlesische Baude" (New Silesian mountain hut), situated above Schreiberhau on 1195 m at the slope of Szrenica (1362 m), date back until 1787. In the early 20th century a ski jumping hill was already constructed there and even German nationals were organized on it by Snow Shoe Club "Windsbraut".
After World War II the usage of the hut under the name "Schronisko Na Hali Szrenickiej", and also of the ski jumping hill were continued by the Polish. Ski jumping activities ended in 1980's.
