The out-dated Trollbakken ski jumping hills at Evje were demolished in 2013 in order to make space for a new ski jumping complex with five plastic covered hills K45, K33, K17.5, K10 and K5. First, the K10 and K5 hills were completed in summer, then K17.5 followed in winter 2014-2015, and with the opening of the K30 hill in fall 2016 another mile stone was reached. Construction works on the K45 hill are still on-going and will be completed by 2018. Trollbakken Hoppanlegg is managed by the ski club Otra IL and Trollbakken AS.
