History:

The history of Kjetsåbakken already started in the early 20th century. Already back then, distances of more than 30 meters were reached, which was quite remarkable at that time. Originally, the hill was named Smiebakken. But since there was another hill named like this, it was eventually renamed into Kjetsåbakken. According to reports and locals it has been in use until the late 1940's.
