History:

The first real world record in ski jumping was set up by Norway's skiing pioneer Sondre Norheim at Brunkeberg in Kvitseid community in Fylke Telemark. He jumped 30 feet (19.5 meters) on Hauglibakken on March 8, 1868.
Morgedal IL opened Hauglandsbakken with two hills of K40 and K20 at the same location in 1986.
