History:

In 1986 a small ski jumping hill was set up on the north side of the small island Rovøya in the middle of lake Storsjøen. Jumping from a 6 m tall inrun tower, the hill was lit up by headlights on cars on the mainland and kerosene lamps on the takeoff. Elite jumper Stein Gruben was involved in the jumping there.
