History:

Ljørdalen already had a ski jumping hill since the beginning of the 20th century. It was extended within the construction of an inrun tower in the 1950's. It was not maintained too well and had to be demolished in the 1970's. Around the millennium, the facility was refurbished. However, it only took again just 20 years until the inrun tower collapsed.
