History:

A small, now defunct ski jumping hill located on the slope directly north of Kautokeino Barneskole in the centre of Guovdageaidnu/Kautokeino, Finnmark. The facility was a typical snow-covered school and training hill. Surviving materials indicate that the hill near the school (locally known as “Skolebakken” / “Skuvlaluohkká”) was used for winter recreation; the local museum Guovdageainnu gilišillju / Kautokeino bygdetun preserves a photograph depicting ski jumping competitions held in the “Skolebakken” (“Hopprenn i skolebakken”).
