It was a ski jumping hill located on the edge of the Østmarka forest, east of the Ellingsrud district in Oslo. No information has been preserved about the years during which it was in use. Kjerringmyr is the name of a nearby bog and small pond, Kjerringmyr/Kjerringmyra, situated in the northern part of Østmarka. This area was severely affected by a lowering of the groundwater level during the construction of the Romeriksporten railway tunnel in the 1990s, and was later included in restoration efforts and conservation plans within the proposed Østmarka National Park.
According to modern sources, the Kjerringmyr ski jumping hill is now a destroyed facility.
