History:

Sandkollbakken was a relatively small ski jumping hill located on the eastern edge of Lørenfallet, in the former municipality of Sørum (now Lillestrøm) in the Akershus region. The facility belonged to Sørum IL, whose headquarters are in Lørenfallet. The hill was built in 1963–1964 in the Hoelsenga area as a successor to the larger Lunderbakken in Hønsi, which had been the club’s main ski jumping hill until 1955. Sandkollbakken served primarily as a training hill for local jumpers. According to available sources, the hill was used only for a few years before it was taken out of operation and eventually dismantled.
