History:

In 1952, a ski jumping hill was also built on Michlifen mountain near Ifrane as part of the development of this winter sports resort. The facility allowed distances of about 20 metres and was used by the local club for competitions and jumping shows, where athletes also from other Moroccan winter resorts, among others from Oukaïmeden, came. It is known that the ski coach Masson, who won the Moroccan ski jumping championship in 1953 in Oukaïmeden, often practised on the ski jump in Ifrane. The ski centre on the Michlifen mountain is still functioning today and nowadays the site of the former ski jump is often used for sledging.
