History:

The history of the ski club of Marktoberdorf dates back to 1922. Around 1927, an own ski jumping hill was built near the temple, a former pavilion at the end of Kurfürstenallee, between Marktoberdorf and Bertoldshofen. Presumably, the ski jump has been used also by TSV Bertoldshofen until around 1990.
