History:

Already in 1930’s at Krähhügel the first snow ski jumping hill was built, but the relatively short outrun lead directly into the White Main, what caused many involuntary winter baths of some ski jumpers.
In 1966 the ski jump was enlarged with a wooden takeoff, a new landing hill profile and a bridge over the Main and now served mainly for young jumpers before they could pass over to Ochsenkopfschanze. With the construction of K20 junior hill at Ochsenkopf in 1976 Krähhügel-Schanze was given up.
