History:

The ski jumping hill in the district Bühlingen of Rottweil was built and inaugurated in 1939. According to newspaper reports, about 1,000 spectators came to watch the opening competition.
During World War II, fighter-bombers aimed to destroy it, so the local council decided to rather deconstruct it. But only two years after the war has come to an end, it was rebuilt and frequently used from then on.
In 1969, it was demolished once again, but never reconstructed. Nowadays, only a forest-aisle is a remaining of it.
