The 1954 constructed Kreuzkopfschanze was covered with plastic mattings in 1966/67 and reopened as a K46.5 by a training section of the DSV national team. In 1969 K28 junior hill was build up and already in 1983/84 both plastic covered ski jumps were again converted. In 2005 another modernization of K57, which has a ceramic inrun trail, took place and one year later it was the same with the smaller jumps. In 2008/2009 a renovation of the inrun tower of K57 had become necessary.
The biggest ski jumping competition at Bad Griesbach is a since 1968 annually hosted summer tournament which has been hosted under parenthood of Georg Thoma since 1989.
Apart, there is another jumping facility in Bad-Peterstal-Griesbach community with Bühlhofschanze at Bad Peterstal.
