History:
The first ski lift on the Les Cochettes slope in Villard-de-Lans was built in 1936 and the natural ski jump with a wooden take-off was probably built in the same period. The ski area was operated until the 1990s. The nordic ski club is still active now in cross-country skiing and biathlon.
