Already in 1950’s at Lieksa on Lake Pielinen in Eastern Finland near the Russian border the first 50 meter ski jumping hill was constructed. Today the home club Lieksan HS of Nordic Combined Jaakko Tallus runs five smaller ski jumps for young jumpers education, which are all together equipped with floodlights. Additionally, K55 and K15 hills at Riihivaaran ski jumping facility have plastic covering.
