The ski jumping hills in Joroinen were built in 1988 as K42, K25 & K12. In 1995, the large ski jump was rebuilt and enlarged into K50. In autumn 2014, however, the ski jumps had to be closed because the wooden inrun towers were rotten and therefore in danger of collapsing. The ski jumps were supposed to be demolished in 2015, but a group of ski jumping enthusiasts found themselves to organize the reconstruction. Ultimately, the reconstruction of the entire ski jumping facility began in 2018. In autumn 2020 the four new plastic covered hills Joroisten hyypyrimäet K50, K35, K15 and K5 could be completed.
