History:

Liberec was already a centre of cross-country skiing and ski jumping in the middle 20’s and there were ski jumps in the parts of the town Plané, Harcov and Pilinkov.
At the 1012 m high mountain Ještěd the first jumps were built in the years 1966 to 1968 and older jumps (K90 and K70) already had a common landing hill, as it is still today. Because of the juniors European championships 1976 the profile of both jump was changed completely and a modern inrun tower was constructed.
In the 1980’s another K50 was added which was covered with mattings for a while. At this time many international competitions took place there, like the famous Bohemia Tournament of ski jumpers, but also competitions of Nordic combined were held in front of a great amount of spectators.
In 1992 the jumping facility was reconstructed and later a lift up to the inrun tower was established. A disadvantage is that the jumps cannot be used for practicing at the same time, because they all lead into the same landing area. But nevertheless this modern ski jumping facility is one of the most important ski jumping centers of the Czech Republic. Liberec is regularly part of the yearly FIS World Cup schedule.
In 2009 the Nordic Ski World Championships were hosted there and for this occasion the jumps were again modernized in 2007/2008. Thereby the hill profiles of K120 and K90 were not changed, but mainly infrastructure was improved with new facilities and spectator stands and the two smaller jumps K50 & K14 were torn down. In 2013 Liberec with Ještěd ski jumping area was host of the Nordic Junior World Championships.
Due to new FIS regulations, the hill size of the Ještěd large hill was changed from 134 to 136 meters in 2019.

Wie ktoś może dlaczego te skocznie są ciągle pomijane przy układaniu kalendarza Pucharu Świata? Przecież są o wiele nowocześniejsze od Harrachova

I just received an email with 50$ no deposit casino bonus from this site:

Classifiedsweepstakes.com

Even more - they say it's completely legal for US players to gamble there... Did anyone hear from them before?
Anyone else played there yet?

I think its possible to land 14m over HS in Liberc, because the two hills have the same hill and if you look at the summer photo the HS of the HS 134 is something like 9 or 10 m under the HS mark of the HS 100, and so I think its possible to land 14 m over HS! so i was right at the beginning , when I said "the inofficial hill record is 114m " ;)

Liberec HS100

No właśnie, tak jak pisałem wcześniej, czyli jednak rekord Berggaarda został zaliczony, bo Norweg ustał swój skok.

Berggaard's hill record

I booked Mats Berggaard's jump as fallen, since I cannot imagine it is possible to land a jump 14 meters over HS and 7 meters over the longest jump so far. It would be good to have somebody how really attended the competition (trial round), because result lists do not show when a jump was fallen...

Liberec HS100

No a skąd pewność, że Barggaard nie ustał tej próby na 114 m? To właśnie ten skok powinien być zaliczony jako rekordowy na tym obiekcie.
